We’re continuing our virtual tour over Cevisama 2017 – the greatest event in the world of ceramic tiles that traditionally takes place in Valence, Spain. This year the exhibition became even more popular among the visitors from the key European markets – France, Germany, Poland and the Netherlands. Also, the number of guests from Russia increased by 23%, and buyers from the USA – by 34%. So, let’s have a look at what they saw…

We guess that the most sought-after products of this brand are ornamental, bright and colorful small-scale tiles. They are the fruit of double firing of white and red clay, just like many other ceramic products, but the spice of the manufacturing process is the addition of versatile pigments, which are responsible for such a diverse range of colors. All the collections are hand-made and packed into boxes literally from the kiln. And 70% of the tiles are exported. The prices vary from 13 to 170 Euro per square meter. Among the novelties of this year there are two eye-catchy collections – “Panal Hexagon” and “Rustic”. The former represents artisanal hexagonal tiles in six basic colors, and the latter attracts with its glimmering finish. Despite the small-scale production and quite democratic costs, Cevica brand is world-famous and appreciated by interior designers.
Are you looking for wall tiles with graffiti effect? Or something urban-style? The Aparici brand is ready to offer you these non-standard solutions, as well as classical variants imitating textures of concrete, wood, textile, marble and other materials. You may even find here patchwork patterns with oriental motifs, delicate pastel collections and trendy tiles with 3D effect.
Street art is the choice of young and creative people – they should pay attention to the “Brave” Collection. Fans of classics are recommended to select “Dwood” ceramic granite; those who are keen on aged plaster look – “Terre”, marble – “Monaco”, vintage – “Crayon”, the East – “Outre”, carpets – “Carpet”, urban motifs – “Recover”. And if you don’t mind having your bathroom wall finished with stingray skin texture – the “Shagreen” Collection is what you need.
This is actually a group of companies including three brands - Peronda, Museum and Harmony. The latter is especially appreciated by professional designers and architects and is hence manufactured literally piecemeal. And in general each of the three brands offers spectacular color mixtures and gradients. The news of this year is the launch of new formats and a product line inspired by the streets of Hong Kong. Many of the collections were created in collaboration with a famous Spanish designer Francisco Segarra. The Museum brand exhibited plenty of ceramic granite both in glossy polished and matte versions, but the leader in the number of novelties was Peronda, of course. During the show it revealed the “FS” series mimicing stone texture with marble aggregate inclusions, the “Sawncut” – imitating wood grain, “Portlligat” – resembling watercolor pattern, as well as a few collections in urban style – “Brass”, “Shark”, “Detroit” and “Mitte”. But the centerpiece of Peronda’s stand at Cevisama 2017 was a capsule hotel entirely finished with “Forest Ancient” tiles collection imitating the grain of aged wood.
It wasn’t just a bunch of new collections of tiles and ceramic granite that the Pamesa brand used this year to surprise its visitors at Cevisama 2017. The company decided to fall back on… augmented reality. Any guest of the stand could put on special glasses and select tiles for his bathroom by just manipulating fingers in front of his face. This is a nice chance to see how the interior may change depending on the collection you choose. The product lines that deserve a special mention are medium-priced “Atrium” ceramic granite available in 4 colors, the “Art” series inspired by the Mettlach tiles, and the designer “Agatha” collection, which brought so many admirers to this brand. Pamesa are very proud of cooperation with Agatha Ruiz de la Prada and are glad to surprise their fans with new bright collections and colors every year.
